Noise Blocker CDs
OK, this is a bit of a bonus for all you who have already purchased the DVD, in which I showed you our ambient noise generator (see FAQ Q10). Many a sleepless night has been avoided with this little beauty.
If you don't fancy spending the money on such a device yourself (and they can be expensive), then one of my "Noise Blocker" CDs might suit you better. I recorded a heavy rain/thunder storm at Lake Tinaroo, and I waded out into fast-flowing rapids at Woko National Park and recorded that. In each case, I then edited the sound into a full length CD. Just whack it into your player, crank it up a bit, and Bob's your uncle. You can even put it on repeat so it goes all night if you like. I've called them "Rainstorm" and "Rapids" respectively.
Unlike the fully manufactured DVD, these CDs are individually burnt on my high-spec burner, and labeled with my high-spec printer! Nothing fancy here, but they deliver the goods. I've tried to keep the price minimal, despite the labour-intensive nature of getting these out to you. They're $14 each, plus $3 postage & handling. Or $23 for the pair, plus the same $3 P&H.
